Ferry Building, San Francisco

The City is a beautiful place.

And one of our favorite spots to go to is the Ferry Building.

{One Ferry Building, San Francisco}

It is fun any day of the week, but especially so on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday, when they hold a certified farmer's market.

I love wandering the aisles, looking at the plethora of produce, cheeses, baked goods, and good quality meats.

And there is food, food, food to eat.

Inside the building there are small tidbits you can taste.

There were places to get coffee, fresh pressed juice, beignet, gourmet candies, donuts, and so much more.

Our plan was to collect a few munchies for our lunch and drive to Baker Beach.

Acme Bread was our first stop; this place has the. best. bread. We picked up a small loaf of french bread here.

We found a lovely place outside in the farmer's market that was selling a cheddar blend that was so, so yummy. A wedge of that went into our bag.

We got some salami at the Golden Gate Meat Company, and then could not resist getting a fresh-out-of-the-oven apple turnover from Frog Hollow Farm.

Our lunch was made complete with a bottle of wine we smuggled onto the beach in our backpack.

And what a lovely lunch it was, looking at this view.
